16-Month A.B.S.N. Program Transitioned to 12-month program
UNE’s 16-month Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (A.B.S.N.) program has transitioned to a 12-month program. The current enrollment cycle for the A.B.S.N. class starting in May 2024 is for the 12-month program. Information on the 16-month program is below for current students of the A.B.S.N. class which started in May 2023.
Program Overview
UNE’s 16-month Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program immerses you in evidence-based nursing science and hands-on clinical experiences. Through experiential learning in hospitals, clinics, community settings, and in nursing skills laboratories in our simulation center, you will develop the skills and expertise you need to pass the NCLEX-RN exam.

The University of New England's Nursing Program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
